The Weigh Inn Bar situated at 6 Kevlin Road began its humble beginnings back in 1980 as an unlicensed snooker and games room before becoming The Kevlin Road Snooker and Social Club. 5 years later a pub license was granted and a major renovation job carried out resulting in the Weigh Inn Bar, now a thriving, comfortable and relaxing pub. The bar is geared towards sports with multiple screens to ensure uninterrupted viewing of all major sports live.
They have become synonymous in the world of darts throughout Ireland and beyond, hosting one of the biggest darts competitions in Ireland, The Weigh Inn Festival of Darts every August incorporating the Weigh Inn Irish Open.
This competition attracts the best in the game from around the country and indeed from across the water with its attractive £10,000 prize money.
Dart competitions are held every Monday night, all welcome. They are also the Guinness World Record holders for finishing a game of darts 1,000,000/1 in the least number of darts; this was live streamed around the world and watched in 37 countries.
